Terrible experience if I could give a zero star rating I would. I came home to visit my family and being that I'm in the military I needed to get a rental vehicle. When I got to the Avis/Budget the man behind the counter wanted to charge me rates three times the amount I was going to pay at the airport. He told me that I couldn't rent anywhere else with my debit card only his Avis because Avis recently changed their policy. I called the airport and determined that was a lie. He also told me he could guarantee that I couldn't find a better rate at the airport. I paid $136 for the full week and he wanted to charge me $360. He also said he couldn't lower the rates cause he gets commission based off the price he sells them at and if he went lower he was cutting into his extra money. I don't see myself ever renting from this Avis/Budget and will never recommend this place to anyone.
The place is conviently located, relatively clean, but the staff definitely could use more training in customer service and relations.
Good quality vehicles, but if you're using a debit card, make sure you have a back up plan for a vehicle. They do a credit check. The check is not on how good your credit is, but on your lines of credit. So, if you don't have any open lines of credit, you probably won't get a vehicle. They won't check you're credit in advance either. So just have a back up!
My experience at this location was a great one, Thanks to everyone. I would rent again from this location and I will recommend this location to anyone going to Ottawa Hills, OH., even through the city had closed the main street. Everyone that I came in contact with were professional & very friendly. Once again Thank You.

08/22/2017 - I was recently given a number to call in a reply to this post and no one knew where to direct my call. Everyone wanted me to set up a reservation and to top it all off the customer service rep gave me the same number that i used to reach him for help.
